As the protagonist, you receive a letter from your recently deceased mother: in it she reveals a grim family curse that can be broken only by retrieving a stolen heirloom. Shortly before her untimely death, she discovered the heirloom hidden within the collection of a strange museum. This museum straddles two worlds - the tangible and the spectral realm of the Everwhen where all places and times converge. To break the curse, you must navigate between these realms, solving riddles to unearth the museum's secrets and performing rituals to maintain balance, and making critical choices that determine the fate of the restless spirits.
